Starting in 1480 with the birth of Jerinomo Bassano , through the reign of James Stuart II in England and Noteworthy Poet Sydney Lanier and southern playwright Tennessee Williams.
Our line trraces directly from Sallie Bass Lanier who was born March 04, 1791 in Brunswick, Mecklenburg Co, VA, and died April 23, 1844 in Rutherford Co., TN. She married Drury Josiah Floyd, son of Drury Floyd and Elizabeth Lanier. He was born
April 29, 1789 in Virginia, and died October 03, 1868.
