Darrell Rita 33rd Anniversary 2005

We're CEMETARIAN otherwise known as Rita and Darrell Holcomb and we are so glad you are here.

"cemetarian"  what a funny name!  As genealogists our research has taken us to many dusty courthouse basements and country cemeteries.  Hence the name CEMETARIAN.  After we created the name and website, Darrell went to work for a local Funeral Home so the name really fits now.

We have always loved vintage items and after years of collecting we found ourselves running out of space and started offering our overflow to folks on the internet.  Thus, we really do live life La Dolce Vintage.  The Sweet Vintage.

If you have questions or just wanna make a comment please use the contact us form or the comment form below.  We love hearing from you. And if you have a few minutes.....  Click on the photo above and watch a musical tribute to our 30+ years together.

You're always welcome here at CEMETARIAN.

Please Read These Dreary Details, Carefully!!!

  • Payment is expected within 7 days. After 7 days of no payment or no response we will relist the item.  There are NO EXCEPTIONS to this rule.
  • We no longer share our space with our beloved Sheltie, but our Australian Shepherd "grand-dog" still visits frequently.
  • We laugh, and play and entertain guests in our home.  We have been known to smoke, drink and frequently cuss around our merchandise and packing materials.
  • Our Vintage items are "ESTATE SALE" finds and are sold "AS IS" with No-Refunds and No Returns.

Vintage items have lived a life prior to coming into our home and your life.

As a seller, we can not always give you its entire Life History.  Therefore, we offer you the following points to consider when purchasing vintage items that are made of paper, fabric or other absorbent materials.

 These items:

  • May have been in previous smoking environments

  • May have been in households with pets

  • May have a musty odor due to its storage

We make every attempt to ensure your vintage item is free from odors at the time of shipping.  However, it has been shown that undetected odors sometime revive during shipping.  This is due to the item being packaged in a confined space (box, envelope, padding, etc.)

We recommend these tips to restore freshness to your item.

  • Hang or place on a wire rack outside in a dry, shaded location for a few days.

  • Place in a paper bag with newspaper for several days.  The newspaper will absorb many unpleasant odors.  Change newspaper frequently.

  • If the item is fiber, take it to a reputable dry cleaner.  Dry cleaning should remove any smells if you request it to be deodorized.

We do our best to provide you with 5 Star Service by giving accurate information, multiple clear photos and other relevant information on each item. However we do occasionally miss something, so if you have specific concerns, please ask prior to buying.

If you are allergic or sensitive to odors, dust or dander this might not be the item for you.

On June 2, 2008 we lost our beloved Winston.

But this little tribute to him has really helped the healing process.  Whenever I get lonely for his sweet presence, I watch the video and reminded of the good times and how they had deteriorated to bad for him more than for us.  Sometimes the most selfish thing we can do is to prolong their suffering.

Click on the image below and share with us, the wonderful life that was Winston for 13 years.

Rest in Peace our sweet baby.
